Doc-Martin-image As well as enjoying a very successful acting career, Martin Clunes is also a director of the independent production company, Buffalo Pictures Ltd, which produces Doc Martin for ITV.

Best known for his roles in Men Behaving Badly and William and Mary, when Buffalo needed a complete commercial catering kitchen to feature in the immensely popular Doc Martin TV series, we were tasked with providing the kit.

The range of commercial Kitchen appliances supplied by us for Doc Martin included; a six burner gas cooker, stainless steel fridges and freezers, stainless steel benches and prep tables, dry store racking, a gas-fired char grill, a potato peeler and a chipper, a falcon steakhouse grill, a commercial Dishwasher, a deep fat fryer and several microwave ovens.

The Restaurant was a very popular TV series in which a group of aspiring couples The restaurant raymond blanc competed for the chance to set up a restaurant financially backed and personally supported by the French chef, Raymond Blanc.

Blanc's’ innovative TV series used real restaurant premises to house the temporary business bases from which his rookie contestants would trade.

The commercial premises featured in the programme had to temporarily shut down their entire operation during the filming process. In some cases this also meant the complete re-branding of an otherwise successfully trading restaurant!

Catering appliances, sundry kitchen items and gas safety testing services were provided by us on location and featured heavily in many episodes of the successful TV series.

the criterion, london

One of the capitals oldest restaurants, The Criterion in Piccadilly Circus first opened in 1874 and was in Piccadilly even before the famous Eros' statue, which arrived in 1893.

The Criterion Restaurant has hosted many famous diners including Winston Churchill and David Lloyd George who regularly met there, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle who had the idea for Dr. Watson and Sherlock Holmes while dining at the Criterion, and H.G.Wells when he was the Chairman of the Royal College of Science's Old Students.

Following a spell with Marco Pierre White at the helm, the restaurant relaunched in 2009 with new Russian owners.

In recent times the restaurant has featured on TV shows such as Celebrity Masterchef and Downton Abbey.

We provide The Criterion’s Head Chef Artan Hasa with specialist services, parts and repairs to commercial catering appliances, most of which are used on a daily basis to produce top-quality dishes that continue to grace the tables of this famous old restaurant.
